The elementary Catechism program for grades K-6 is held on Mondays during the school year at 4:00 p.m.
The Junior High Catechism programs for grades 7-8 is held on Mondays during the school year at 6:00p.m.
Parishioners volunteer as teachers to help students who do not attend St. Edmund Catholic School. Students grow in their knowledge of the Catholic faith and in their love of God and His Church.
Children’s Christmas Choir: Any child (2nd grade or older) can sing in the Choir for the 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass.
Vacation Bible School is held each summer in June the week prior to Father’s Day. Children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade are able to attend. Children entering 6th grade and older may serve as Jr. Counselors. It is a fun-filled week featuring Bible lessons, music, crafts, activities and snacks.
Our high school religious education program is provided with in the Life Teen program. Life Teen is a high school youth ministry experience and is centered on the Eucharist. Teens participate in the 6:00 p.m. Life Teen Mass followed by a post-Eucharist gathering called “Life Night.” Life Nights provide fellowship and catechetical teaching and reach teens…spiritually…educationally…and socially. It is the total package. Volunteers serve on the Life Teen core Team – a team of adults, young and old who help plan, prepare and execute the Life Nights.
During the summer, the teens who desire to continue to meet after the 6:00 p.m. Life Teen Mass for prayer, fellowship and fun.
