A.C.T.S. ADORATION, COMMUNITY, THEOLOGY, and SERVICE
retreat offers the opportunity to strengthen our faith and its application in our daily life, to renew ourselves spiritually and to build strong and lasting friendships. The A.C.T.S. weekend retreat is presented by Catholic lay people, with support by a Spiritual Director.
ALTAR SERVERS
Children in 5th grade and older have a chance to honor God through service at the altar.
ART & ENVIRONMENT
Volunteers assist in decorating the Church indoors and outdoors for the Christmas, Easter and Ordinary time seasons.
CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS
The Catholic women's organization serves the whole Eunice community. The group meets the first Monday of the month at 6:00pm.
CHOIR
CHRISTMAS Adult parishioners volunteer to sing for the 10:00pm Christmas Mass
During the Night.
EASTER Adult parishioners volunteer to sing for the Easter Vigil Mass.
FUNERAL - WE ARE IN NEED OF A LEADER AND NEW MEMBERS.
Volunteers interested in giving of their time and talent to sing at funerals.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
With the approval of the pastor, confirmed parishioners interested in serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must attend a training session. Ministers may then serve at Masses in our parish. Some are called to bring Communion to the homebound in our parish.
FAITH FORMATION
YOUTHParishioners who enjoy teaching God's word to the children of this Parish can
volunteer as CCD teachers, LIFE TEEN and/or CONFIRMATION teachers.
ADULT
R.C.I.A. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults meets weekly beginning in September.
The R.C.I.A. team includes priest and deacons from local Catholic churches. The R.C.I.A.
team works with people seeking to join the Catholic Church. The team offers enrichment
classes in Catholic teaching for those coming back to the Church.
COME, LORD JESUS prayer group studies the liturgical readings for the upcoming
Sunday.
LAY CARMELITES The Third Order of Carmel meets every last Saturday of each month.
MONDAYS WITH MARY prayer group meets Mondays to pray the rosary at 5:30 pm at
Blessed Virgin Mary statue in front of church.
THAT MAN IS YOU interactive men's program is focused on the development of men in
the modern world. The program is divided into 13 weekly sessions. The group meets on
Tuesdays at 5:30 am in the Parish Hall.
THERESIANS is a community of women with a speical devotion to St. Therese of Lisieux.
FOOD BANK
Volunteers collect and distribute food to those in need at 251 W. Park Ave. This is a co-operative effort of the Greater Eunice Ministeral Alliance. Applicants for food must have a form filled out by their church.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS is Catholic men's organization serving the whole community. Members thrive to promote evangelization and unity among Catholic families.KCs meet the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the KC Hall.
LADIES ALTAR SOCIETY
The Ladies Altar Society is a special and integral part of the spiritual experience at St. Anthony Church. The volunteers wash and iron the altar linens, and see to it that the church is in order, neat and ready for everyone to focus on God’s Presence in word and Sacrament each Sunday and weekday Mass.
LECTORS
Parishioners who possess the skill of clarity in public reading and comprehension to assist in the community worship by reading the Old Testament and New Testament passages at weekday and Sunday Masses.
MINISTRY TO THE HOME BOUND, HOSPITAL, and NURSING HOMES
Ministers to the sick make regular visits to homebound parishioners (homebound, hospitals, or nursing home) to offer Communion and encouragement.
MONEY COUNTERS is a group of volunteers who count the weekend collection and then make the deposit at the bank.
PASTORAL COUNCIL
Members are elected to advise pastor on matters of Patoral concerns and care. Meetings are scheduled and advertised in the bulletin. Elections are held in May. Elected members serve a 3 year term.
PERPETUAL ADORATION
Spend one hour a week before the Blessed Sacrament at the Adoration Chapel located in the west side of the Church. Our chapel is open 24 hours a day. Parishoners are asked to sign up for one hour per week time slot.
PRO-LIFE group supports and promotes respect for all human life from conception to death. The Pro-Life members help bring information to our parishioners. They also help to send students the the Pro-Life March in Washington, DC.

USHERS
Ushers assist the parish in giving glory and honor to God during the Divine Services, by the ordering of the flow of parishioners in and out of the church and of the taking up of the various “offerings” of the faithful and distributing the parish bulletin after Mass.
